Few days ago, I felt like I had no appetite to even calling upon the name of the Lord. Nor having appetite to pray or read the Bible. There were some things in my mind that made me down, also made me wondering His kindness.
Have you ever feel the same way like I did?
That time, a song popped out in my mind.
Even when my strength is lost, I'll praise YouEven when I have no song, I'll praise YouEven when it's hard to find the words, louder than I'll sing Your praise.The moment when I remembered it, I started to call upon Him. It was hard, I was going to cry. But just like the lyric stated, "I'll praise You... louder than I'll sing Your praise."
Living as a human nowadays isn't about our feeling. For example, when we feel like we don't want to read our Bible, or when we feel like it's hard to pray, we give up on our reading and not praying. No. Most of the times, our feeling is wrong. It is all about faith. About how you believe that even when it's hard, He is near. Believe in Him is what we need to finally can say, "Even when it hurts, I'll praise You."
"Though the fig tree may not blossom,
Nor fruit be on the vines;
Though the labor of the olive may fail,
And the fields yield no food;
Though the flock may be cut off from the fold,
And there be no herd in the stalls--
Yet I will rejoice in the LORD,
I will joy in the God of my salvation.
The LORD God is my strength;
He will make my feet like deer's feet,
And He will make me walk on my high hills.
(Habakkuk 3:17-19 NKJV)
